Job Description
“The Commissioner General of the Prison Service (TPS) announces to the young individuals listed below that they have been selected to join the Prison Service for the fiscal year 2023/24. These youths are required to attend prison guard training at the Kiwira Prison College, situated in the Rungwe District, Mbeya Region. They are expected to report to the college on 07/06/2024 without fail. Failure to report on the specified date will result in the loss of their placement and removal from the training roster.
Young individuals with a Form Four education who have been selected should report to the Regional Prison Commanders’ Offices where they undergo interviews. Those who were interviewed through the Prison Headquarters should report to the Regional Prison Commanders’ Offices nearby to receive instructions on requirements and travel arrangements.
