Role Description
This is a contract role for a Social Studies Teacher. The Social Studies Teacher will be responsible for teaching World History and Social Studies to Middle School students. The teacher will be responsible for lesson planning, curriculum development, and creating engaging and interactive classroom activities. This is an on-site role located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Qualifications
- Experience in Cambridge curriculum
- Strong lesson planning and curriculum development skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students
- Ability to create engaging and interactive classroom activities
- Experience in using technology in the classroom
- Knowledge of local and global issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
