The company requires Project Manager for ERP Projects implementation for existing projects and new projects.
 
Responsibilities
Project Management
  •  As an ERP Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of ERP implementation projects from initiation to closure. This includes defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. You will develop and maintain detailed project plans, allocate resources effectively, monitor progress, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders, including team members, clients, and management, are essential for successful project management.
Payments Follow-up
  • In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and managing payments related to the ERP projects. This includes invoicing clients, following up on outstanding payments, resolving any billing discrepancies, and ensuring timely receipt of payments. You will work closely with the finance department to maintain accurate records of project finances and ensure that payment schedules are adhered to as per contractual agreements.
Client Management
  • As the primary point of contact for clients, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. This involves understanding client requirements, addressing their concerns, and ensuring that project deliverables meet their expectations. You will provide regular updates to clients on project progress, seek feedback, and proactively identify opportunities to add value to their business through ERP solutions. Effective client management is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
Cross Functional Team Management
  • As an ERP Project Manager, you will lead a diverse team of professionals from various departments such as software development, implementation, testing, and support. Your role involves assigning tasks, coordinating activities, and fostering a collaborative work environment to ensure seamless integration and alignment of efforts across different functions. You will provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, resolve conflicts, and promote teamwork to achieve project objectives effectively.
Proposal Preparation, Bid Management
  • In addition to project management responsibilities, you will also play a key role in preparing proposals and bidding for new ERP projects. This involves conducting market research, analyzing client requirements, and collaborating with sales and technical teams to develop comprehensive proposals that meet client needs and align with company objectives. You will lead the bid management process, coordinating inputs from various stakeholders, ensuring timely submission of proposals, and actively participating in client presentations and negotiations. Your expertise in proposal preparation and bid management will be instrumental in securing new business opportunities and driving company growth.
 
Overall, as an ERP Project Manager in an IT company, you will play a critical role in driving successful ERP implementations, managing client relationships, and contributing to the growth and profitability of the organization.

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience
  • Must have worked on at least 2 projects large ERP projects in Africa and have stayed at site for long duration on these projects during the project implementation.
  • Must be able to do on site implementations at sites in Africa. The expected duration of the project is almost throughout the project.
  • Must be able to learn and be certified in ERP products that we implement so that they can do better project management.
  • Must possess a Master Degree.
  • Must have minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP project management.
  • Must have certified in PMP or equivalent.
