We are in search of a Design Engineer with a specialized focus on Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems for the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sectors. This entails a blend of office work and travel. The selected candidate will be instrumental in designing and presenting solar PV solutions tailored to the C&I market.

Responsibilities:

• Designing Solar PV systems specifically for the Commercial and Industrial sectors, meeting their unique energy needs.
• Creating technical and customer-specific drawings and presentations to facilitate the sales process.
• Handling the technical aspects of tender documentation for projects within the C&I sectors.
• Collaborating with the sales team to understand client requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Ensuring all technical proposals and presentations are accurate and tailored to the client’s specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related technical field, with a focus on renewable energy systems.
• Proven experience in designing Solar PV systems for the Commercial and Industrial sectors.
• Expertise in CAD software and other technical tools for creating detailed drawings and presentations.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.
• Willingness to travel to Tanzania for the onboarding process and as needed for project requirements.
