Job Description

The After Sales Manager will play an important role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships with customer after/before the sale of tractors and farm machinery. This position is at managerial level and involves overseeing various aspects of post-sales services, including managing aftersales processes, spare parts sales, and warranty services.

Responsibilities:

After sales Management:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Coordinate with service centers and technicians to ensure timely and efficient resolution of customer issues.
  • Monitor service quality, track performance metrics, and continuously improve after sales processes.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and provide effective solutions.

Process Development:

  • Design and establish standardized processes (SOP)  for after sales services, including maintenance, repairs, and technical support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, service, and logistics) to streamline workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

 Spare Parts Sales:

  • Manage spare parts inventory and distribution.
  • Develop pricing strategies for spare parts.
  • Work closely with sales teams to promote spare parts sales to existing customers.
  • Identify opportunities for up selling and cross-selling spare parts.

Warranty Services:

  • Administer warranty claims and ensure timely processing.
  • Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve warranty-related issues.
  • Train service technicians on warranty procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of warranty claims and approvals.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate the after sales team.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team members’ skills.
  • Set performance targets and evaluate team performance regularly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s /Engineering degree in Mechanical, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in after sales management, preferably in the tractor or farm equipment industry, construction, heavy machinery
