The Sote Initiative Vacancy – Mobile Applications Development Volunteer | August 2024

The Sote Initiative is an NGO that is located in Arusha Tanzania. We are currently implementing a women economic empowerment program in collaboration with Buzz Women – Netherlands. A program that exposes rural women with basic skills on personal and business financial management, personal growth and climate change.

We are searching for volunteers to help us with two of mobile applications development projects:

1. Personal Financial Management Mobile Application: enabling rural women to manage/track their finances through a simple budgeting and funds tracking mobile application.
2. Crops Trade Mobile Application: Linking the farmers with markets for their crops directly, through elimination of oppressive middlemen.

Required Qualifications: The right candidate should have thorough knowledge, skills and experience in designing and developing mobile applications, basic accounting/financial management knowledge and skills.

NB: The working station will be Arusha – Tanzania or virtual.
