Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania for a Telesales Team Lead. The Telesales Team Lead will be responsible for managing and leading a team of telesales agents, overseeing day-to-day operations, providing support and guidance to team members, and ensuring sales targets are met. The Telesales Team Lead will also be responsible for maintaining good customer relations, resolving issues, and continuously improving the team’s sales performance.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead telesales agents team.
- Setting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Setting Team KPIs.
- Training and coaching the team.
- Weekly and Monthly reporting on team performance.
- Maintaining customer retention rates.
- Assisting management with hiring processes.
- Motivate employees to reach individual sales goals and encourage the staff to work better.
- Performance management of the Team; reviewing the performance of staff, identifying training needs and planning training sessions.
- Keep track of the attendance of the team.
- Perform any lawful task assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a related field.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the call center, preferably in the FMCG industry
- +3 years of experience in team management in sales environment.
- Excellent communication and telesales skills
- Strong sales skills and ability to meet targets
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Data-driven personnel with data analysis experience.
- Proficient in using sales CRM systems
- Fluency in English and Swahili
