Position Store Manager Work Group Management

Department Finance Location Dar es salaam.

JOB PURPOSE
Manage the inflow and outflow of products throughout the store, ensure store has sufficient inventory levels to meet customer demand while reducing losses and inefficiencies. Adhere inventory control processes, carryout monthly inventory count, carry out stocktaking of key /fast moving items, identify usage time of key items held in store, examine, transport order, and identify Defected/Expired items for dispose as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Procurement and Supply chain Management or related field
Work Experience
Minimum 4 years’ experience in inventory/warehouse Manager position
Language and Computer
Skills
Communication skills, Time Management, Demand Management, Analytical, Inventory
Management and Optimization,
Fluent in English and Kiswahili
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems(MUST)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1
Monitor inventory level:
a. Conduct weekly stock reconciliation at store, ensure right inventory level.
b. Establish minimum, maximum, safety stock and re-order level for all inventory items.
Load in ERP, run MRP weekly to establish inventory replenishment

2 Stock control:
a. Apply the First in First Out (FIFO) inventory method to manage shelf life.
b. Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of
product as needed.
c. Organize stock, ensure all products are labeled and movement of items are updated.
d. Initiate disposal of damaged/expired goods.
e. Conduct monthly stock count, investigate variances and circulate report to Supervisor
for review and approval.
f. Supervise other staff members and keep records of all internal transfer.
g. Stock the materials in proper manner in the appropriate location code number wise
and category wise.
3 Manage Inventory:
a. Analyze product movement and recommend items to be kept in stock.
b. Develop safety stock and re-order level for all warehouses.
c. Maintain a neat, clean and safe working Environment as per company and government regulations.
d. Manage the store layout.
e. Effectively utilization of ERP NEXT for all internal transfers
Reports:
a. Prepare daily inventory report detailing stock level and forecast of inventory needed
to fulfill future client orders
b. Weekly and Monthly Inventory report stock movement report detailing fast moving
items and slow-moving items.
c. Report all the short expired items on time for Decision making.
d. Daily operation reports for all sites
e. Monthly Aging Report Analysis per site
f. Inventory in transit report
5 Maintain all records relating to stores documents like Materials Requisitions, Goods Receipt Notes, Delivery Notes, Supplier Invoices, Internal Transfer Notes, etc.
6 Maintain and update bin cards for each item properly
7 Receiving goods timely and properly as per procedure in place
8 Ensure system ledger for each item is up to date and accurate as per bin card and physical stock Available.
9 Ensure goods dispatch and issued from stores timely with proper documentation
10 Training and disciplining staff at the store for all site
11 Any other duty that may be assigned by management
