The Key Purpose of this role is to ensure optimum utilization of plant, raw materials and people, to produce quality products at minimum cost which meets customer requirements and complies with legislation.
Key Outputs and Responsibilities:
Safety
Ensure Safety of Employees and Contractors are adhered
Raised SIO and Close all SIO under site category
Cost
Ensure all Site services are maintained within agreed budget
Manage Site UPP within agreed quality and cost
Other
Responsible for Site Housekeeping
Responsible for all waste removal from the Plant and HQ
Develops and maintains a landscaping programme for site
Responsible for the disposal of by-products
Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of change rooms
Defines methods, such as innovation schemes to optimize the opportunity to minimize wastage
Liaising with the local city council and peri-urban council on matters such as electricity and water supply effluent discharge etc.
Managing all Contractors in the site
Site Services Maintenance including Contractors Management
Good understanding of VPO Tools
Ability to make sound decision under pressure
Good problem-solving skills
Analytical ability
Team leadership
Concern for detail and accuracy
Bsc in Civil Engineering
