  • Responsible for the design, development and implementation of Stanbic Bank’s Public Relations and communication strategies, policies, guidelines and programs whilst ensuring their alignment to applicable standards.
  • Responsible for the custody of Stanbic Bank’s Broader stakeholder management agenda and building and nurturing strategic relationships with various stakeholders e.g. National and Foreign Governments (Executive/Legislature), Media, Business networks etc. for purposes of advancing Stanbic Bank’ objectives whilst safeguarding its interest and reputation.
  • Ensuring Stanbic Bank’s corporate positioning, visibility, reputation, brand and impact is aligned to its vision, mission and strategic direction.
  • Creating and managing strong global, regional and national media relations agenda as well as implementing a robust stakeholder engagement plan.
  • Creating and managing a vibrant social media strategy.

The role requires an individual with a good understanding of the entire Brand and Marketing value chain with specific focus on Communications that includes Marketing & Communications strategies, Offline and Online Communications, Public and Stakeholder Relations, Digital and Content Marketing Plans and usability best practices. Demonstrated experience in translating business requirements into clear Marketing & Communications strategies, integrated campaigns and deliverables.
