Educational and Experience Requirements

Diploma in Business Administration or related field.

At least three years of industry sales experience.

Familiarity with sales systems/software’s.

Proven experience working in a FMCG industry is an added advantage.

Ability to drive manual vehicles is an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions on customer

receipts.

  • Inform regular customers of new products or services and price changes.
  • Call on prospective customers in order to explain company services and to solicit new business.
  • Visiting prospective customer location and pitching the products
  • Ensure truck functions well, taking care of the truck and doing minor repairs
  • Arrange merchandise and sales promotion displays, or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
  • Maintain trucks and food-dispensing equipment and clean inside of machines that dispense food stuff.
  • Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
  • Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and training.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
