QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES REQUIRE
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience required a similar role on large scale Construction projects, preferably in Oil & Gas or other linear projects with expertise large scale construction projects, preferably in Oil & Gas.
- Quality Coordinator shall be CSWIP 3.1 certified or equivalent as a minimum and preferable.
- A thorough knowledge of applicable international codes, standards & Company/Operators standards
- Working knowledge of national & local regulatory frameworks (laws, regulations, guidelines, policies)
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Proficient in industry applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Comprehensive knowledge and compliance within certification frameworks (CSWIP, BGAS, PCN, AWS, NACE).
- In-depth understanding of industry codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS) and interpretation of fabrication drawings.
- Expertise in various welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW).
- Thorough knowledge of destructive and non-destructive testing for WPQR and WPS qualification.
- Effective collaboration in diverse, multidisciplinary team environments with interface management experience.
- Strong communication skills to articulate engineering concerns and solutions to individuals with diverse technical backgrounds.
- Experience in working with multicultural contractors and reporting on their performance.
- Autonomous, self-motivated, and adaptable, with proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and plans, understanding critical path and milestones, and a focus on meeting project deliverables and supporting and coordination EACOP project teams processes.
ACTIVITIES:
- This mission ensures the Quality Coordinator not only drives QC processes across multiple disciplines but also acts as a key link between the construction/fabrication teams and the field engineering specialists, ensuring the successful and safe delivery of the project in line with its quality objectives: Coordination of Quality Control Activities:
- Responsible for managing day-to-day QC processes across Welding, NDT, Coating, EI&T, and Civil works.
- Coordinate the QC efforts of all Contractor (CTR) teams to ensure compliance with the project’s Quality Control strategies and plans.
- Ensure that QC activities meet the performance requirements set for Contractors (CTRs). Collaboration with Field Engineering Specialists:
- Work closely with Field Engineering Discipline specialists to maintain QC standards.
- Guarantee adherence to Quality Control measures as outlined in the Project Quality Plans. Support for Fabrication and Construction Packages:
- Act as the primary QC discipline lead supporting fabrication and construction efforts.
- Provide clear guidance, coordination, and assignment of duties to site-based quality controllers and specialists.
- Interface with Construction and Fabrication Sequences:
- Ensure seamless integration between QC efforts and construction/fabrication sequences.
- Facilitate the involvement of specialists by coordinating timely and comprehensive reporting. Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all work is executed in compliance with project safety protocols, codes, standards, drawings, and specifications.
- Promote the use of safe working practices across all QC activities. Reporting and Communication:
- Guarantee the timely publication of all QC-related reports.
- Ensure comprehensive and clear communication with relevant stakeholders regarding QC performance andstatus.
- Replace the Construction Quality Manager on specific tasks when on recuperation.
