Position: Mechanic Vacancies: Four (4)
Workplace: Bagamoyo Date: 08/05/2024
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the on-duty worker safety and security
- conduct a pre- start inspection and keep records with check list of the machines, tractors and trailers.
- Responsible for the accountability for the spares drawn from stores. Maintaining and repairing of the Lorries
- Identification of faults on vehicles
- Maintaining safety and cleanness at the working place and the job itself.
- Servicing of all vehicles.
- Any other duty that may be assigned by the HOD-WS
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Certificate in motor vehicle mechanic course, grade 1/level 3.
- At least five (5) years of hands-on job experience as a mechanic on the shop floor in a big motor vehicle garage
