The key purpose of this role is to co-ordinate, train, coach and control the activities in E&F section, both in the production environment and maintenance, to provide specialist technical advice to ensure maximum equipment availability through the use of VPO means.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Maintain a Safe and Healthy Working Environment
Development and periodic review of risk assessments (HIRA, PHA, JHA)
Complying to safety requirement on operation of equipment (SOPs, SWI signed off)
Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
Ensures a Reliable Plant is Achieved Through the Maintenance, Calibration, Repair of Equipment and Optimization of Plant and Associated Devices
Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation / systems
Plan and prepare the job
Maintenance of equipment on electrical and instrumentation discipline
Development of Maintenance Programs for new equipment, review of maintenance programs for the existing equipment
Carry out repairs / maintenance
Continuously improve (optimize) plant, process equipment and systems
Operate plant and process equipment
Calibrate instruments
Work in Teams
Communicate effectively in teams
Contribute to self and team development
New ideas generation (own ideas and team ideas implemented)
Apply the VPO Principles and ractices
All work is carried out using the VPO principles (All VPO pillars implemented)
Development and periodic review of risk assessments (HIRA, PHA, JHA)
Understands, Implements and Complies to the GOP requirements
Sustains what has been implemented
Develop Team
Develop competent team via SKAP, ATO and Technical Skills Matrix
Development and implementation of training plans
Clear succession plan for the team available

Minimum requirements:
Minimum of Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Bsc in Electrical or electronics Engineering)
Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics
Minimum 3 – 5 years Manufacturing industries
2-3 Years mechanical/electrical with in depth workshop knowledge.
Planning experience required
Knowledge on Control & Automation will be an added advantage
