Job Purpose

The role holder will support daily fund transfers, assist with merchant reconciliation and settlement, resolve issues from electronic transactions, and engage with Banks, MMOs, PSPs, and other partners to improve service delivery.

Job Responsibilities

– Assist in processing daily fund transfers through various payment platforms.
– Support the monitoring of daily fund positions and cash flow.
– Help with bank/wallet account management, including account opening/closing.
– Aid in merchant reconciliation and settlement.
– Address customer and merchant disputes, ensuring prompt resolution.
– Collaborate with Banks, MMOs, and PSPs on settlement discrepancies.
– Ensure daily validation of transaction postings on the system.

Qualification & Required Skills

– Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Up to 1 year of experience in Digital Financial Institutions or the Banking industry, especially in reconciliation or settlement roles with online banking and other electronic payment systems.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
– Keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a focus on customer experience and outcomes.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both internally and externally.
– Basic knowledge of reconciliation and settlement processing.
– Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suites.
– Proficiency in English.
