The key purpose of this job is to coordinate the movements of finished goods and empty containers between Breweries, DC’s and Distributors to ensure key KPI’s are delivered. Responsible for managing relations across all levels internally and externally to ensure that stakeholders are aligned to finished goods replenishment. The incumbent is also responsible for the on-time deployment of empty containers to eliminate packaging downtime. To achieve the objectives of this role, the incumbent is responsible for delivery of Inventory Deployment KPIs as defined and within AB InBev standards.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Plan and optimise finished goods stock levels between Breweries, DC’s and Distributors
Revision of the DSNP plan to protect service levels and revision of the Shipment Scheduler plan to increase weight per shipment
Amendments of the Deployment plan to ensure continuity within the operation
Load prioritization and allocation to prevent out of stocks
Optimisation of finished goods and empty container movements to reduce Tier 1 cost (VLC)
Cost management and optimization through mix analysis & preparation of the T1 FG budget – could be part of one of the line items
Continuous management of service levels and routine reporting and analysis to ensure Inventory policy adherence and delivering KPI’s
Management of queries regarding inventory levels and recovery plans to internal and external stakeholder
Implementation of key deliverables as defined in the LCP handbook for Inventory Deployment (IDP Block owner)
Value realization of the inter-regional DAG process by ensuring end to end adherence
Develop and publish Inventory Deployment Plan
Balance available inventory based on agreed rules and Check and review plan against service level and OOR KPI’s
Review daily roll overs, consider freshness requirements when building the plan
Generate, validate and publish near term plan to deploy
Manage near term and daily issues
Validate cost of make vs cost of redeploy and make changes to the deployment plan
Check and adjust deployment plan to consider availability, last minute issues/constraints
Publish adjustments and priority loads, prioritize shipments/volumes and publish daily deployment plan
Cost Management
Drives strict adherence to flexed budgets with the various logistics teams and sites
Ensure lane compliance are followed per the tender and that any deviation is tracked and approve
Assumes overall accountability for total T1 spend and empty legs portion of T2 costs
Accounts for over/underspends on a bi-weekly and monthly basis
Full accountability to sign off on all T1 accruals and ensure PO’s and GRN are done on time for the same and that supplier accounts are fully reconciled.
Perform mix analysis to identify drivers and opportunities for Improving VLC/hl
KPI’s, Routines & Reports
Ensures that Daily, Weekly and Monthly Meeting routines are adhered to in line with mandatory LCP guidelines
Ensures that processes are standardized via SOP’s and work standards are monitored and improved by using Operational 3 Work Diagnoses (OWD’s);
Track KPI’s on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in line with LCP requirements
Ensures that appropriate problem-solving tools are applied for out-of-range KPI’s in line with LCP methodology.
Publish reports on time as per LCP guidelines and internal processes.

Transporters (external), SNP Scheduler and Retpack Execution Specialist (Internal), Logistics teams (internal), Supply team (internal), Finance team (internal), Sales team (internal), Zone planning team (internal)
Profile
Relevant Bachelors degree in Planning, Supply Chain Management or Logistics
3 – 5 years operational or planning experience in FMCG
Deep Knowledge of NoCC Logistics and Planning processes, specifically inventory management
Understanding of ABInBev Logistics and Planning principles
Improvement through root cause and trends analysis using Belt methodology
Demonstrable problem solving skills with an ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
Must be able to work under continuous pressure for extended periods
Clear and strong communication skills
