Job Description
Responsibilities
- To manage the recruitment process, from screening, interviews, and selection.
- To be responsible for laying the foundation for the organization’s structure.
- To build a relationship between employees and the organization manager.
- Ensuring implementation of compliance matters such as Fire and OSHA.
- Handling disciplinary measures.
- Updating staff files.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Following up with staff benefits such as NHIF, NSSF, and other staff bonuses.
- Advising management on policies and procedural implementation.
- Drafting job descriptions.
- Ensuring evaluation and appraisal for staff are done on time.
- Assessing the training needs and implementation.
- Conducting the internal HR Audit.
- Monitoring staff performance and attendance.
- Drafting employee contracts and ensuring that the employees’ contracts are valid and up to date.
- Preparation of employment contracts, and company policies and ensuring each employee has a copy of a signed company policies.
- Performing all other duties as assigned by the managing director.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business administration, HR public relations, or another related field.
- 3 years’ experience in the Automotive industry.
- Creative and knowledgeable in handling HR activities.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Kiswahili both speaking and writing.
