PalmPay is a Pan-African fintech company currently operating in Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, and Kenya and expanding to other markets in 2024. We are reinventing the payment experience by making it easy and reliable for everyone to get Payment Services.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Supports business partners by providing appropriate solutions to the business from their perspective.
2. Support and facilitate workforce planning to support the company’s business development and implement recruitment strategies and plans; work with the business team to support all recruitment activities, including: consolidated recruitment needs and analysis; face-to-face interviews; work with the people service team to ensure hiring effectiveness and maximize recruiting efficiency.
3. Be responsible for employee lifecycle management at Palmpay to create good employee experiences.
4. Support the recognition and reward programs to drive employee engagement.
5. Proactive engagement in the various employee relations matters in both the office and business; be able to explain company rules and regulations professionally.
6. Support local staff in performance management work.
7. Support the employee survey and other organizational activities to ensure positive employee relations.
8. Support and coordinate the management team to assure the employees that discipline is in place.

Job Requirements:
1. A university degree or above with more than 5 years of experience. Experience in the fintech industry is preferred.
2. HR management, especially with competing companies., Priority is also given to technology-related industries, electronic devices, and payment systems.
3. Once worked in a collaborative environment, preferably in companies such as Vodafone (M-Pesa), Airtigo (Tigo-Pesa), Airtel, Halo-Pesa, Selcom, Pesapal, banks, etc.
4. Good communication and coordination skills Being down-to-earth, hands-on, and detail oriented.
5. Able to work in high-pressure and complex environments with a “can-do” attitude.
6. High learning agility and good analytical thinking.
