About the Role:
Employment Type: Permanent
In this role, the successful applicant will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty mining equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety at coal mining sites. They will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime. The role requires a strong technical skill set, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, challenging environment to support continuous operations and achieve production goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensuring repair and preventative maintenance of heavy-duty vehicles,
Test repaired equipment for proper performance,
Clean, lubricate, and preform other routine maintenance work on equipment
Key Requirements:
More than five years’ experience as HD Mechanics
Knowledge of automobile mechanics
Have vocational degree in automobile maintenance related field
Have experience on Komatsu machine PC1250, PC 2000, and HD785.
Should be able to use diagnostic tools such as VHMS
Skills in mechanical maintenance and report writing
Should have driving skills and possess a clean Driving License.
English and Swahili Language
