Position: Foreman – Heavy Equipment Section

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all type of heavy earth moving machineries
- Maintaining all type bucket loaders/stackers, cranes, forklift, crawler dozers, graders, compactors, & other miscellaneous equipment to achieve optimum level of availability fixed by the management.
- Responsible for the accountability for the spares drawn from stores
- To lead a team of mechanics and asst mechanics.
- Coordinating with the other section like auto electrical, tyre section, welding and fabrication and machine shop for getting the job done
- Spare parts Planning and raising the required spares well in advance for the smooth running/ shutdown maintenance.
- Maintain the job allocation, work progress report, materials consumed documents comes under his control
- Training our own technicians and giving sufficient technical knowledge to all industrial trainees to improve on their performance
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- An advanced Diploma in Mechanical or/Automotive Engineering or their equivalent plus a certificate in basic Supervisory Management
- At least eight (8) years hands-on job experience as a heavy earth moving machinery mechanic on the shop floor in a big motor vehicle garage
