Position Overview:

As a Finance Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance function of BTS Insurance Brokers Limited, assisting in financial planning, reporting, and analysis. Leveraging your expertise in finance and accounting, you will contribute to the efficient and effective management of financial operations and resources.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

 

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators.

 

Budgeting & Forecasting:

 

  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with senior management and department heads to develop annual budgets and financial projections.
  • Monitor budget performance throughout the year, analyzing variances and identifying areas for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and projections, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making and resource allocation.

 

Financial Operations & Transactions:

 

  • Assist in managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
  • Review and process financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and filing in accordance with regulatory requirements.

 

Compliance & Regulatory Governance:

 

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to finance and accounting operations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed to facilitate audits and examinations of financial records.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles within the insurance industry or related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of finance and accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and modeling tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
