About the Role: Employment Type: Permanent
In this role, the successful applicant will manage the scheduling and dispatch of mining equipment based on data analysis and operational needs. They will be responsible for monitoring equipment data in real time, ensuring alignment with mine shift plans, and optimizing resource use for efficiency and cost reduction. The role requires strong organizational and analytical skills to effectively coordinate equipment deployment and support Tancoal’s productivity and profitability goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Mining Operations, Technical Services, and Geology departments to ensure that daily production targets are achieved.
Optimize equipment utilization to meet or exceed production goals.
Monitor daily production processes to ensure targets are consistently met.
Record and monitor all tasks completed by each piece of equipment in a timely manner.
Manage and control the use of radio communications for production feedback to enhance operational efficiency.
Generate accurate and timely reports detailing production metrics.
Maintain precise records of equipment operational hours and production counts.
Play an active role in shift operations, providing assistance to field operators as needed.
Adhere to all established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Develop and implement efficient delivery and work schedules to optimize workflow.
Key Requirements:
Possess a Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in a relevant field.
At least three years of experience in a related field.
Prior experience in the mining sector is highly advantageous.
Proficient in computer usage and relevant software applications.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
