Job Description: 

As a Digital Media Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in managing, creating, and optimizing digital content to enhance our online presence and engage our audience effectively. Here’s a deeper dive into what your responsibilities will entail: 

 

Content Management: 

 

– Utilize content management systems (CMS) to update website content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and freshness. 

– Regularly refresh digital platforms such as social media channels with captivating pictures, videos, and other multimedia content to maintain audience interest and interaction.
  • Website content management 
  • Managing GMB profiles for all companies (Latest updates, reviews, images, etc)
  • Viator, tripadvisor, and any other tourism related sites we manage 
  • Uploading free/paid images to shutterstock, unsplash, pexels, freepik, etc. 

Social Media Management: 

  • Strategically boost posts through sponsored content to amplify reach, engagement, and conversion on social media platforms.
  • Monitor social media analytics to gauge performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve campaign objectives.

Digital Advertising: 

  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc., to drive targeted traffic, conversions, and ROI.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyze data insights, and adjust strategies accordingly to maximize campaign effectiveness and efficiency. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop ad creatives, messaging, and targeting strategies that align with campaign objectives and audience segments. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital advertising to implement innovative strategies and tactics. 
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to refine ad performance and optimize conversion rates. 

Digital Content Creation:

  • Craft compelling and informative articles, blog posts, and other written content to educate, entertain, and resonate with our target audience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content that aligns with brand voice, messaging, and marketing goals.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO): 

  • Conduct keyword research, analyze website performance metrics, and refine SEO strategies to enhance online discoverability and user experience.
  • Implement SEO best practices to optimize digital content for improved search engine visibility, keyword rankings, and organic traffic generation.
  • Outreaching to relevant websites and collaborating with them to get backlinks. This has to be done in an appropriate and authentic manner in order to gain quality references.
  • Competitor analysis and building a site structure that helps us reach the right audience and provide all the relevant information to them.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital content management, creation, and optimization.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
  • Familiarity with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager) is advantageous.
