Job Description

 

Responsibilities

  1. Support the implementation of the Community Engagement Plan and work with project engineers to ensure communications are ready and projects avoid delays.
  2. Identify relevant community impacts from the delivery of our services and work with internal teams to mitigate these where possible.
  3. Maintain up-to-date information regarding the status of enquiries in the customer database.
  4. Respond promptly to complaints and customer enquiries.
  5. Ask the right questions of internal staff to understand how services are delivered.
  6. Translate technical information into clear and concise responses.
  7. Provide regular updates to community stakeholders on project progress and address concerns as they arise.

Requirements and qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s in communications, journalism, public relations or any other relevant fields.
  2. 3 years of experience in digital marketing.
  3. Ability to prepare high-quality responses to customer feedback, ministerial and media enquiries.
  4. Have transport and/or construction exposure.
  5. Have strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  6. Liaise with clients and other engineering professionals.
