Job Description

  • Piling works.
  • Placement of Precast element.
  • Concrete operations.
  • You install and organize the construction (logistics, materials, people);
  • You direct all aspects of the day-to-day execution of the project, and you monitor and coordinate work performed by foremen and labour;
  • You lead, coach and manage several skilled and experienced site execution staff;
  • You direct work sequencing to expedite project delivery and to minimize disruption of ongoing operations;
  • You plan the resources;
  • You implement and oversee the ISO & Quality procedures;
  • You implement and oversee the HSE procedures;
  • You select, audit and supervise subcontractors;
  • You maintain regular contact with the customers or their representatives;
  • You report directly to the Construction Manager on the progress and output of your own teams and suppliers;
  • You organize the operations with the available equipment in coordination with the workshop;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or other relevant technical discipline from an accredited university as well as a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience;
  • Experience in field supervision
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction engineering practices related to piling works;
  • Demonstrated planning and scheduling, procurement, and contracting experience;
  • Maintain, promote and cultivate a safe work ethic and work environment within the craft;
  • Able to work extended work schedules and night shift as required to support the project execution plans and schedules;
  • Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health;
  • Demonstrable commitment to a Zero Accident safety program;
  • Extensive experience in civil construction of large projects;
  • You are fluent in English, other languages are an asset;
