Join The Mora as Assistant Housekeeping Manager responsible for the daily inspections of rooms and public areas and ensure exceptional service to all customers, ensure adequate inventory levels of cleaning products.
Due to local regulations, you must be a Tanzania national to apply for this role.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Perform daily inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure the best possible service.
- Assist on recruit, hire, and train new housekeeping staff.
- Ensure the availability of materials and equipment.
- Perform staff reviews and encourage teamwork among staff.
- Resolve guests’ problems and complaints.
- Maintains compliance with local regulations and records.
- Enforces operational standards and employee management.
- Promotes teamwork, safety, and asset management.
ABOUT YOU
- You will have extensive experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in a leadership role with previous roles working within a fast- paced 5* hotel environment.
- Strong motivational skills and ability to successfully lead a diverse and cohesive team.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Polite, pleasant demeanour with a neat appearance.
- Possesses creativity, professionalism, and human resources management capabilities.
- Capable of handling pressure and resolving housekeeping issues.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks such as cost management while maintaining operational standards.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
- Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
