Job Summary:
The major goal of an Area Sales Supervisor is to put life into an organization’s strategy. This position is responsible for creating sales plans to meet strategic organization goals, building membership, and providing strategic solutions for sales efforts including campaigns, trade shows, and client acquisition.
She/He is also accountable for the leadership, training and coaching of personnel • S/He is responsible and accountable for the implementation and management of company strategies and plans.
For success in the performance of this role, the Ares Sales Supervisor needs to understand what the product market wants from the companies’ goods and services. Customers should feel that they can depend on the business to meet their consumer needs and respond to queries and concerns in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum of five years of sales and/or marketing experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree from a well accredited university.
• A driving License/certificate.
• Minimum of three years of experience in supervising a team.
• Successful previous experience as a sales representative or supervisor, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong computer and technical skills with specific experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Leadership skills.
• Managerial skills; supervising a team of 10 to 30 people.
• Analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal communication.

• Sales Supervisor: Candidate with supervisory skills to manage a team of 10 to 30 people.
Responsibilities
Other Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Branch/Sales manager to ensure adequate client communication, maintaincontacts with clients and provide feedback.
• Initiate sales activities, strategies, and sales plans required to build brand visibility.
• Serve as a point of reference to employees in terms of showing great work ethic, habits, personal character, and professional character.
• Responsible for the investigation and control of non-compliance to company standards and policies.
• Continually training new and existing sales representatives, assigning specific tasks to other sales representatives and monitoring the sales team performance.
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of competition status.
• Ensure all sales representative routes assigned have up to date route plans. • Conduct a regular ‘Work Withs’ in the market on route per sales representative on a weekly basis.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of prospects, leads, pricing, sales activities, and active clients.
• Controlling company marketing expenses to ensure the marketing expenditure is keptwithin budget.
• Attend trade shows and other marketing events and represent the organization. • Evaluate the performance of the sales team and seek ways to improve the team’s performance.
• Identify the trends in the market, both current, and future that are likely to affect the performance of the organization.
• Ensure the items are displayed correctly in the malls, supermarkets, and other salespoints.
