Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania for an Advocate at BETA Law. The Advocate will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients, conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings.

Qualifications

a. University Degree in Law and Registered Advocate;

b. Proven experience in Commercial/Corporate Law;

c. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English;

d. Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills in a fast-paced work environment;

e. Ability to prioritise tasks, take initiative, and independently manage competing demands;

f. Sharp instincts and upto date on all relevant laws;

g. Computer literate with effectively use of basic applications such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and

h. Be social media savvy; experience in managing the firm’s social media accounts and website content.
