Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Manage all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Assist in the preparation of the company’s budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Coordinate and facilitate external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and resolving any discrepancies.
- Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.
- Work closely with other departments to support overall business operations and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 year’s experience in relevant accounting experience, preferably in the automotive or truck sales industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
